The Challenge
Big Mama’s Gumbo was in the early stages of brand development. Using the existing logo as a foundation, I was brought in to refine the logo and build a cohesive brand identity system that could scale across both print and digital applications.
The Approach
The brand needed to appeal to customers seeking a healthier, more authentic take on comfort food. The visual direction focused on three core attributes—organic, fresh, and authentic—expressed through thoughtful typography, a natural color palette, and warm, approachable imagery.
The Outcome
The resulting brand identity established a clear and consistent look and feel, giving the client the tools needed to confidently market the product to wholesale buyers and expand into new retail spaces.
